Dan Duryea Cause Of Death: How Did He Die?

Duryea died of cancer on June 7, 1968, at the age of 61. His remains are placed at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles. ‘DAN DURYEA 1907-1968 OUR POP A MAN EVERYBODY LOVED,’ says his monument.

Mr. Dureyea was born in White Plains on January 13, 1907, and attended high school there. He studied English at Cornell University and took over as president of the undergraduate theatrical society from Franchot Tone in his final year. However, he did not begin acting professionally until six years after graduating.
