Kelsey Christine Plum, mostly known as Kelsey Plum, is a professional basketball player. She plays as a point guard for the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Likewise, she also represents her country, America, internationally.

Plum is a 2018 FIBA World Cup gold medalist. She is 44-3 with USA teams, which include five-on-five, 3×3, and exhibition. University of Washington graduate Kelsey was the NCAA Divison I all-time leading scorer in her College basketball career. She also owns the NCAA single-season scoring record (1,109 in 2016-17) and the NCAA career free throws record (912).

Additionally, Kelsey helped the U.S. women’s 3*3 basketball team qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. They will now be playing against Italy on 26th July 2021.

Who Are Kelsey Plum Parents?

Kelsey Plum was born to her parents Jim Plum and Katie Plum. It looks like athletics runs in the Plums family blood, as all of them are very talented athletes.

Talking about her mom, Katie Plum, she was a volleyball player. Katie used to play college volleyball for UC Davis. However, she didn’t pursue it professionally.

Just like Katie, Jim was also a college athlete. He used to play college football and college basketball for the San Diego State. After completing his undergraduate degree, he left college football/basketball and moved on to a new path.

Standing tall with a height of 5 feet and inches, Kelsey’s parents have blessed her with good genes.

Reviewing Kelsey’s family members, the Plums are a happy family of six. She has three siblings; Daniel Plum, Kaitlyn Plum, and Lauren Plum.

One of her sisters, Kaitlyn, used to play volleyball at UC Davis. Likewise, her other sister, Lauren, was a Volleyball Athlete for Oregon.

Unfortunately, not much is known about her brother, Daniel.
