Vince McMahon was born on August 24, 1945, in Pinehurst, North Carolina to Victoria Askew and Vincent James McMahon.

He was their younger son, with his older brother being Roderick James McMahon III. When he was still a baby, his father left and took his older brother with him. Due to this, he did not meet his father until he was 12.

He is best known for running the Capitol Wrestling Corporation. This was later renamed WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation), then WWF (World Wrestling Federation) during his tenure.
