The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch is seeking help from the public to identify and locate a vehicle related to a homicide. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Benning Road, Northeast, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

At 12:17 pm, Sixth District officers received a report of a shooting and reached the scene immediately. There, they found four people who had been shot; two adult males and two adult females. Despite the best efforts of the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, one adult male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The deceased victim has been identified as 29-year-old Terrell Coghill, from Northwest, DC.

The suspects’ vehicle is described as a white Lexus IS350, which was captured by a surveillance camera. The vehicle may have damage to the bottom of the front passenger door.
