Biography:

Sara Evans was born on February 5, 1971 in Boonville, Missouri, United States. In 1991, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in country music. She began recording demos in 1995 and impressed Nashville songwriter Harlan Howard, leading her to sign a deal with RCA Nashville.

In 1997, she released her debut album Three Chords and the Truth, which gained critical praise from critics. The following year, she released her second album No Place That Far, with its second single No Place That Far reaching No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Her breakthrough came in 2003 with her fourth album Restless, spawning its most successful single “Suds in the Bucket”.
