Originally planned for Friday, Aug. 11, the “parade of blue” and candlelight vigil in remembrance of Jonah Oswald has been rescheduled to Saturday, Aug. 12, due to unfavorable weather conditions. The procession will commence in Overland Park, leading through various northeast Johnson County cities, and culminating in a touching candlelight vigil at Harmon Park, Prairie Village.
The parade is expected to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, making its way through Overland Park, Mission, Fairway, and Prairie Village, as a tribute to Jonah Oswald’s commitment and sacrifice. The candlelight vigil will follow, offering a moment of reflection and unity at Harmon Park’s skatepark, estimated between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Visitation – Sunday, Aug. 13
A visitation to honor Jonah Oswald will be held on Sunday, Aug. 13, at Westside Family Church, located at 8500 Woodsonia Dr., Lenexa. The visitation will provide an opportunity for friends, family, and community members to pay their respects. It will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral Services – Monday, Aug. 14
