Logan Monk Involved in an Accident, Winona HS Student
Robert Clark Logan D. Monk Sr., 74, passed away Saturday at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born in Clinton, NC and had lived in Trenton since 1956.
He was a retired extractor from American Builtrite.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Churhc, where he served as a trustee, member of Joppa Lodge #106 International Masons, and a member of American Legion Post #182 Mitchell Davis. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #7298.
Son of the late Dick and Rena Monk. He was also preceded in death by several siblings.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Tywana and Walter Drew Smith; a son Logan Monk Jr; two granddaughters Blaire and Erin Smith; a sister Annie Ruth Lane; a goddaughter Latoya Johnson; a special friend Carlotta Bell and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Shiloh Baptist Church 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Way, Trenton.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
