Joseph James Rogan, also known as Joe Rogan, was born on August 11, 1967, in Newark, New Jersey, to Joseph Rogan, his father, and an unidentified mother. His father, a former police officer, and mother divorced when he was five years old. After graduating from Newton South High School, he enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Boston but left his studies there midway through.

Rogan gave his debut stand-up set in 1988 at an open mic night at a Stitches comedy club. Rogan has worked a variety of jobs outside of stand-up comedy to support himself since he has always known what he wanted.

Before winning his first important acting role in the Fox sitcom “Hardball,” in which he played Frank Valente, he had his first national television appearance in 1994’s “Half-Hour Comedy Hour.” Rogan formerly worked for Ultimate Fighting Championship (U.F.C.) as a backstage and post-fight interviewer before being hired as a colour commentator.

In addition to several accolades, he has worked on a wide range of comedies and films. One of these awards is the M.M.A. Award for Personality of the Year. Not to mention that he is a co-founder of the fitness and nutrition company Onnit and has his own podcasts.
