Jocelin Donahue was born on November 1981 in the United States. She attended New York University with a degree in Sociology.

She started her acting career when she played a supporting role in the 2008 horror film The Burrowers. Shortly afterwards, she was cast as the lead in 2009 movie The House of the Devil.

She went to play leading roles in Shim Hyung-rae’s film The Last Godfather and in the indie film Live at the Foxes Den. She has also starred in other movies like The End of Love and Insidious: Chapter 2.
