Jennifer Westfeldt is an American actress/writer/producer who is worth $5 million. Jennifer Westfeldt is perhaps best known for her role in the 2001 indie hit Kissing Jessica Stein.

Her acting career began in New York, where she appeared in approximately twenty-five Off-Broadway and regional productions. The Off-Broadway play Lipschtick, which Westfeldt co-wrote and starred in with Heather Juergensen in 1977, drew the attention of Hollywood studios.

Her other credits include writing, producing, and starring along with Chris Messina in Ira and Abby, which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June 2006 and was released by Magnolia Pictures in 2007. Westfeldt won Best Actress for her portrayal of Abby at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, and the film also received the Jury Prize for Best Feature. Ira and Abby won the Best Feature Audience Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Boston Jewish Film Festival.

Jennifer Westfeldt sold to Amazon an adapted screenplay based on Robinne Lee’s novel The Idea of You, which will star Anne Hathaway. The film will be released in 2023 after wrapping production in December 2022.
