Daniel Johnson The body discovered in a retention pond in Pinellas County on Monday has been identified as Jamie Hobdy, a resident of Tampa, Florida.
Hobdy, 42, was reported missing by a family member and was discovered dead in a retention pond in St. Petersburg on Monday.
In St. Petersburg, close to Gandy Boulevard and Interstate 275, is where you’ll find the retention pond.
To help them identify him, detectives were able to match a distinctive tattoo.
Police stated that they are currently looking into the circumstances and manner of his death.
