While on today’s episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Jaden was asked about the rumor.

‘You know, I actually don’t look at the internet, so I didn’t see that,’ he admitted.

Still, upon learning about the rumor, Jaden was quick to put an end to it, making it very clear that they are just really close friends.

‘But, me and Sofia have been friends for like 10 years. We’ve been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too. But, yeah, we’re just homies and we love each other and it was fun,’ he told the host.

But why would they act so loving and couple-like if they have a platonic relationship?

The unnamed insider tells HollywoodLife that ‘They both laugh off these kinds of rumors and Sofia especially loves to do these kinds of things when the paparazzi are around so she probably played it up for that.’

The went on to point out that the old friends and rumored teen sweethearts were hanging out just as much and were just as close when Sofia was dating Scott Disick as well.
