We emailed just a couple of weeks ago making plans for you to play at my event, the first time I would see you in maybe 15 years or so. I was super excited to catch up with you in just a few weeks from now and figured we would just catch up over drinks I couldn’t wait to hear about Asher and tell you about Annabelle. I had been meaning to touch base this week to make sure you hadn’t forgotten, and then the worst news imaginable. I’m still in shock. I’ll always think of you when I see a Carrabba and the way you said it with that smirky grin and a twinkle in your eye. And how I busted my butt trying to line up gigs for you in Atlanta, or your Astro van, or long talks for hours at night about your girl troubles. I was so happy to see your beautiful family on Facebook, and so looking forward to reconnecting. I just can’t believe you’re gone and we won’t get to hear your voice again or see that laugh and smirky grin. So talented, so loving, and just all around great guy. You will be greatly missed. Gone too soon. 💔
