Who is Sara Carbonero?

Sara Carbonero was born on February 3, 1984, in the eastern region of Toledo in Spain.

She moved away to study journalism in Madrid and during her last year, she secured an internship with Radio Marca.

After securing her degree she took up a full-time position.

Shortly after she joined Telecinco, where she spent the next 15 years fronting various sporting programs, before meeting former Real Madrid and Spain shot-stopper, Iker Casillas, Iker Casillas in 2009.

Her commitment to her ex-husband, urged her to make a move away from Spain, when Casillas joined the Portuguese side Porto in July 2015.

However, it doesn’t mean that her career success stopped there.

Sara took a different direction and created a clothing brand called Fast Love with two of her friends which not only sold clothes but also accessories and beauty products.

In July 2016, she returned to the media world as a host on a fashion TV show on Telecnico called “Quiero Ser” which means I Want To Be.

When did Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero get married?

After six years of seeing each other, Iker and Sara tied the knot on March 30, 2016.

Their marriage ceremony took place in Boadilla del Monte in Madrid.

No guests attended the ceremony besides two witnesses and their son, who was two years old at the time.

The couple celebrated with their family and friends in summer at a special party.

Sadly, in March 2021, the couple announced that they have went their own separate ways and split after 12 years together.

How many children do Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero have?

Sara gave birth to their first son in 2014, before the pair got married.

They then had their second son Lucas in 2016, the year they were newlyweds.
