Ryan Gutierrez popularly known as “Gootecks” is an American entrepreneur and expert on esports fighting games. He recently came into media attention after Twitch officially decided to remove the emote based on his face.

Gootecks aka PogChamp Face Revealed: Fact behind the emote

“Pogchamp” is one of the most popular and used emotes on the Twitch platform. The emote is based on the face reveal video of Gootecks which he uploaded on YouTube. The video also features his friend and Gootecks made that face in the video uploaded in 2010.

The emote basically expresses the surprising reaction and is often used by streamers when they face some surprising situation.

Born on March 19, 1983, in the United States, Gootecks’ age is 37 years old as of January 2021. There is no information regarding his family and early life.

Gootecks’ net worth is estimated to be around $1 Million by several reports. Professionally, he is basically an entrepreneur and a fighting game expert. Why was PogChamp face emote removed from Twitch?

This incident happened recently when Gootecks tweeted “Will there be civil unrest for the woman who was executed inside the Capitol today or will the #MAGAMartyr die in vain?” following the death of a woman in the Capitol.

Following the tweet, Twitch decided to remove the “PogChamp” face emote based on his face as per IGN. They explained that Gootecks’s tweet encourages further violence and had to remove it even though it has been a massive help in developing the Twitch culture.

The Twitch management also said that they will be looking to find a replacement for the emote very soon as it was very popular.
