Mikhail Chernyaev is Anna Lioznov’s ex-boyfriend who killed Charles Butler out of jealousy.

Butler and Lioznov were dating and were planning a future that Mikhail didn’t like as a former lover.

At first, Butler went missing and was nowhere to be found.

As the NYPD was not able to do much about the case, Charles’ daughter hired a private investigator who got the hint of the involvement of Chernyaev.

Upon further investigation with the help of fiding, the police checked the CCTV and were able to see some link between the missing and Mikhail.

As they were waiting to search his vehicle, a large storm hit the city, and hundreds of vehicles including Mikhail’s were washed away.

Several months after, Butler’s body was found by a fisherman and Chernyaev was brought for interrogation.

Mikhail Chernyaev is now in prison, undergoing the long imprisonment sentence that he got for the murder of Charles Butler.

After he accepted and confessed his crime in the police interrogation, Mikhail was brought into court along with all the evidence.

After going through the procedures, the court gave him a verdict of 25 years behind the bars.

As the imprisonment was in 2013, Mikhail has only spent around 8 years of his sentence in jail to this point.

So, he is still behind bars as he continues serving his remaining jail time.
