Megan Rapinoe is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a winger and captains OL Reign of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Rachael Rapinoe, like her twin, also has a love for soccer. She is a former soccer player who played as a midfielder and forward. She has also played for Stjarnan Women in Iceland as well as the United States women’s national under-23 soccer team.

Rapineo attended the University of Portland and played on their soccer team, the Portland Pilots. She became their go-to scorer in 2006 after a midseason switch from defender to forward. This came after her twin Megan experienced an ACL injury.

She was chosen in 2011, by the International Center’s Sports Corps program in the Indonesia America Soccer Exchange, to represent the United States. There she aided in conducting three one-day training clinics. The training clinics were for an estimated 200-300 female athletes as well as 30 coaches.

Together with her sister Megan, she has hosted soccer youth camps.
