Mary J Blige has been in two relationships, one of which led to marriage. However, Conway, the Machine was not part of either of the above-mentioned relationships.

In the 90s, she was in a relationship with singer Cedric “K-Ci” Hailey of the R&B group Jodeci. Blige mentioned in an interview with  The Word, that Blige confirmed their engagement. However, Hailey denied that they were going to get married.

She later married her manager Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, on December 7, 2003. The marriage came to an end on June 21, 2018. The divorce was settled with Isaacs being granted $30,000 per month in temporary spousal support

At DMX’s posthumous album “Exodus” listening party, which saw the attendance of Mary J Blige, Swizz Beats, and Conway The Machine, among others. Blige noticed Conway’s chain and mentioned it to Swizz Beatz, who mentioned it to Conway. Conway then handed the chain to Blige without hesitation, an action that shocked Blige.
