On Friday, May 5, 2023, Courtney E. Barta, 43, of Roebling, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord.

She spent much of her life in Roebling despite being a Willingboro native. For the Burlington City Board of Education, Courtney was a teacher.

She is survived by her mother, Sandy A. Carelli Barta, her sister, Kelly Massiello, her brother, Cliff, and her niece, Ruby Massiello. She was preceded in death by her father, John Barta II, and her brother-in-law, Joe Massiello. Private funeral ceremonies and disposition will be arranged.There won’t be any visits.
