Remember when Counting On stars Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth were the subject of shotgun wedding rumors? It’s been a couple of years since some fans thought Joy-Anna and Austin ran down the aisle because they were expecting a baby, but the couple ended up shooting down the rumors when they welcomed their son Gideon exactly nine months after they tied the knot. Now, a new fan theory has emerged about the young couple, and it’s even worse than the rumor that followed them for months after they became husband and wife.

According to a popular fan theory on Reddit, Austin’s parents had dreams of him marrying a Duggar, and they didn’t care which sister he proposed to. Some fans believe that Austin’s first choice was Joy-Anna’s big sister, Jinger, because they were so close in age.

However, the plan fell apart when Jinger met and married Jeremy Vuolo. Instead of marrying Jinger – who is just two weeks younger than Austin – he married Joy-Anna, who is four years his junior. Yes, the theory seems to be pretty weak. But, considering Joy-Anna was just 18-years-old when she became Austin’s wife, there could be some merit to the theory.

Even though the idea isn’t impossible, there is absolutely no proof that it’s true. But, that won’t keep Counting On fans from speculating.

No matter how they started out, Joy-Anna and Austin are now happily married. In May, they not only celebrated their second wedding anniversary, but they also announced that they are expecting baby number two to arrive this November.

Meanwhile, 16-month-old Gideon recently had Joy-Anna’s Instagram followers in stitches when she posted a video of her little one stuck on a reclining chair. Gideon was apparently crawling by the recliner when he somehow got his diaper caught in the handle.

Before Joy-Anna came to his rescue, she made sure to get her phone out so she could capture the hilarious moment. In the clip, the 21-year-old asked her son if he had a little problem, and he smiled and laughed at his confusing predicament.

When Joy-Anna Duggar finally set Gideon free, he got up and started walking towards his toys, and his diaper was sagging so low, his little butt was on display for everyone to see.

“We’re gonna change your diaper,” said Gideon’s mom.
