Paulat’s mother approached her after Wilson had departed, but she was heartbroken. She then fired two rounds into a wall with a firearm she owned. On Saturday, January 19, 2008, at about 1 p.m., her mother left; she contacted the house and police.

Neighbors were evacuated from the neighborhood as a precaution. Paulat and local police were involved in a 12-hour standoff. According to reports, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver obtained a protective order against Paulat, his former girlfriend.

Before the incident took place, Cedrick was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Paulat at a Wexford restaurant. At Patron’s Mexican Grill on Perry Highway in Pine, they got into a domestic argument.

According to Allegheny County emergency officials, Northern Regional Police were summoned to the restaurant at 8 p.m. for a domestic issue. They claimed that the sufferer didn’t need to be sent to the hospital.

According to a court spokesman, Wilson was escorted to Night Court and was awaiting arraignment on counts of simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. The allegations leveled against him were not made public.
