Elizabeth Ann Weber is the first wife of six-time Grammy Award winner, Billy Joel, whom he married in 1973.

Weber was the inspiration behind many of Joel’s music at the beginning.

“She can kill with a smile; She can wound with her eyes; She can ruin your faith with her casual lies”, he wrote about her in the lyrics of his song ‘She’s Always a Woman’.

Weber had been married to Jon Small, Joel’s music partner before she divorced him and married Joel.

She worked as Joel’s manager. but the duo divorced in 1982. The estranged couple claim to have remained friends regardless.
