Ashley Tropez Death Update; Suspect Arrested on Suspicion of Killing Woman Found Dead in Victorville
Isabella Floyd There was a murder investigation into a woman found dead in an abandoned house in Victorville, and police believe another woman who was squatting there may have committed the crime.
The body of 24-year-old Ashley Tropez was discovered with “traumatic injuries” at 11:10 a.m. on Friday in the 16600 block of Victor Street, according to an alert from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Alexis Call, 24, was found to be familiar to investigators as someone who “may have been squatting at the residence” with Tropez.
Call was taken into custody on Friday and charged with murder.
She has been arrested on murder charges and is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center until her Tuesday appearance in Victorville Superior Court.
