The pair made their family members happy when they had a traditional Indian engagement ceremony in the Season 1 finale. Though Richa and Vishal ended the show as a happily engaged couple, their relationship will be facing a few obstacles in Season 2.

The ensuing quarantining and isolation proved detrimental not only to his mental health but also to his relationship with Richa Sadana. ‘Family Karma’ Season 1 ended with Vishal finally getting engaged to his girlfriend of several years- Richa.

Furthermore, Vishal and Richa maintain a long-distance relationship as he lives in Miami while Richa handles her mother’s business in Memphis. Though the long-distance has taken a toll on them, the love and dedication they share for each other have kept them together.

With things at an impasse, Richa reminded Vishal that their mothers need to get on the same page for the marriage to work out.
