Mason Greenwood, a Manchester United striker, is still on bail following allegations that he raped and assaulted a young woman. The 20-year-old was arrested in late January after images and videos were shared on social media by his ex-lover, Harriet Robson.

Following his arrest, Greenwood was suspended from playing and training by Manchester United.

Former England international Greenwood’s bail was extended until mid-June after it was set to expire in April. As the deadline approaches, false reports have circulated online claiming that a verdict has been reached and Greenwood may be reinstated.

However, because the police investigation is still ongoing, Greenwood remains suspended by Manchester United. However, there are rumors he may be fixed in United’s fixture with Liverpool in the coming weeks.

Interestingly Greenwood is not related to Mason Mount in any way even though both players participate for the England men’s national team.
