American radio host David Lawrence Ramsey III provides financial guidance. The Ramsey Show, a nationally syndicated radio show, is hosted by him.

The New York Times bestseller The Total Money Makeover is one of the many books Ramsey has authored. From 2007 to 2010, he aired a program on Fox Business.

Ramsey was conceived by property developers in Antioch, Tennessee. He played ice hockey while he was a student at Antioch High School.

Ramsey passed the real estate licensing exam at the age of 18 and started selling real estate while also attending college at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate.

Ramsey had accumulated a portfolio worth more over $4 million by 1986. Due to his excessive debt, multiple banks changed ownership after the Competitive Equality Banking Act of 1987 went into force and recalled his $1.2 million in loans and lines of credit.Ramsey declared bankruptcy in 1988 due to his inability to pay.

Gordon Ramsay on the other hand is a well-known British celebrity chef, restaurateur, writer, and television host.

Since its founding in 1997, his restaurant chain, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, has received 17 Michelin stars in total; it now has seven.

Since 2001, his signature restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, in London’s Chelsea, has been awarded three Michelin stars.

Ramsay became one of the most well-known and influential chefs in the world after becoming famous in the 1999 British television drama Boiling Point.
