Robert Clark Zach Tenberge passed away. He was a beloved member of the Huntsville community and a committed basketball coach who bravely battled a rare genetic condition his whole life.

Every practice and game, his enthusiasm for coaching shone brightly, making it impossible not to be inspired by his unrelenting positivity.
Zach’s coaching style showed a flawless balance of mentoring and inspiration. He was able to go above and beyond his responsibilities as a coach by getting to know the players well and learning about their individual objectives, weaknesses, and strengths.

Zach’s contagious enthusiasm gave the team a strong sense of purpose and unity whether he was planning drills, creating a game plan, or delivering inspirational speeches. He pushed the players to take advantage of every chance, go beyond their comfort zones, and relish every moment on the court.
