Jane Fonda is an American actress, activist, and former fashion model.

She has been known to have been involved with a number of men. One of which is her first husband, Roger Vadim.

Roger Vadim was a French screenwriter, film director, and producer, as well as an author, artist, and occasional actor. Like his ex-wife, he was also involved with quite a number of women.

He and Fonda began dating in December 1963 and later got married on August 14, 1965, at the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas.

They had a daughter together named Vanessa Vadim, born on September 28, 1968, in Paris. She was named after actress and activist Vanessa Redgrave. Their marriage ended in divorce on January 16, 1973.

Vadim has other children with his ex-wives including Christian Vadim and Nathalie Vadim.

Vadim died of cancer at age 72 on February 11, 2000 and is buried at St. Tropez Cemetery.
