Previously a Democrat, Jane found common ground with her husband by becoming a Republican when he became a Methodist.

Her full name is Jane Dudley Porter. She served for seven years as a trustee on the Children’s Hospital Medical Center Board, an instructor at Cincinnati Public Elementary School, and 12 years as a driver for Meals on Wheels.
