Paul Reiser is an American actor, television writer, comedian, and musician who is married to Paula Ravets.

Paul is rated 77th on Comedy Central’s 2004 list of the “100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time,” . Paul’s production firm, Nuance Productions, is named after one of his lines in the film Diner, in which his character expresses his aversion to the word “nuance.”

Paul also plays Dr. Sam Owens in the Netflix supernatural horror thriller Stranger Things. Paul played Martin, Mindy Kominsky’s lover, in the second and third seasons of The Kominsky Method.
