On August 6, five years ago in Blaine, Minnesota, Paul Goydos defeated Gene Sauers in a one-hole playoff to claim the 3M Championship.

Paul Goydos claims that, at the age of 58, he is currently playing some of his best golf. Although he’s enjoyed a string of top 10 finishes on the PGA Tour Champions this summer, he doesn’t hit the ball very far, hasn’t recently claimed any victories, and describes his short game as quite scratchy.
