Mariah Amani Buckles (born October 27, 1997), known professionally as Mariah the Scientist, is an American singer-songwriter.

On August 23, 2019, she released her first studio album, Master, via RCA Records and her now-former companies, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez’s One Umbrella Records and RCA Records.

On October 27, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia, Mariah Amani Buckles was born. She attended college at St. John’s University in New York City in the intention of becoming an anesthesiologist but eventually left out to focus on music after graduating from Southwest DeKalb High School one year early.
