Back in 2021, Lohan announced her engagement to fiancé Bader Shammas, following through with their commitment a year later. Upon spending some time away from the spotlight, the unexpected proposal came with very little information about the loving couple.

Over the course of her turmoil-plagued career — which started when the actress was just 10 years old — Lohan became increasingly selective in the information she shares with the public, and understandably so. Nonetheless, Lohan-watchers have started slowly amassing data about Shammas, including his polarizing financial business.

According to several media outlets, and per the information shared in Shammas’ LinkedIn profile, the man who stole the heart of the Hollywood star is an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse, a leading — albeit intermittently problematic and controversial — financial services company. Credit Suisse, according to its official website, aims at “advising clients in all aspects of finance, across the globe and around the clock.” In addition to his current occupation, Shammas reportedly attended the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa.

In spite of having studied in North America, the businessman was actually born in Kuwait, although his birth date has never been disclosed. Currently, Shammas resides in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, alongside Lohan, who travels to the U.S. for work. Regarding his personal life, not much is else is known, other than his religious faith. Shammas is Muslim, which sparked plenty of discussion surrounding Lohan’s possible conversion of faith. As of March 2023, Lohan and Shammas are officially in the final countdown for their due date, upon announcing their pregnancy with a post saying “coming soon.”
