Isaac Kappy was an American actor and writer. He was known for Thor (2011), Fanboys (2009) and Terminator Salvation (2009).

Kappy was also formerly the lead singer of the band Monster Paws. The band was formed in 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after Kappy met guitarist Nate Santa Maria when the latter was organizing a karaoke night in a bar.

According to Local Flavor Magazine, Kappy was a viola prodigy and had received a scholarship to the University of Arizona but dropped out at 19 to attend the University of New Mexico.

He died on May 13, 2019 after jumping off a bridge in Bellemont, Arizona. His death was confirmed on May 14, 2019 by Bart Graves, spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Public Safety in a statement:

“On May 13, 2019 at 7:26 in the morning, troopers were called to interstate 40. Where this happened is not far from Flagstaff, Arizona. We were called there for a subject who had forced himself off of the trans western road bridge and onto I-40. He was then struck by a passing pickup truck. He has been identified as 42-year-old Isaac Kappy of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was deceased on scene.”

The band Monster Paws paid tribute to Kappy with a brief post on their Facebook page that read, “MP forever Issac. I’ll miss you homie.”

Kappy had been constantly texting Jackson and that she was responding because she was worried that he was suicidal. Eventually, Jackson stopped responding as the messages continued. Jackson eventually blocked Kappy’s number and opted to have armed security with her at all times.
