Isabella Floyd White made his retirement from the kitchen official in 1999, and on December 23 in the Oak Room, he prepared his last supper for a paying client.
He also gave back each Michelin star. After he stopped cooking, he started his own restaurant.
He founded White Star Line Ltd. with Jimmy Lahoud, and the two ran it jointly until their partnership ended in 2007.
on partnership with James Robertson, White established his first steakhouse, the “MPW Steak & Alehouse, on London’s Square Mile in 2008.
They have co-owned and run the Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill in Chelsea since 2010. From 1999 until 2003, James Robertson served as White’s maître d’hôtel.
The two eateries merged to form the London Steakhouse Co. in May 2016.
White owned an interest in the Yew Tree Inn, a Hampshire dining tavern from the 17th century.
White is the author of a number of publications, including the well-known recipe White Heat, the memoir White Slave , and Wild Food from Land and Sea.
He lives by himself, owns multiple steakhouses, two hotels, and resides close to Salisbury Cathedral in Wiltshire, England.
