Lala Kent is making sure that she takes care of her mom in every way she possibly can. The Vanderpump Rules actress just bought her mother a new car.

Lala explained to her followers via Instagram story that she never got to buy her late father, Kent Burningham, the car that she promised him when he totaled his vehicle after having a stroke while driving.

The message read: ‘When my dad had a stroke and his car was totaled, I told him for his birthday I was going to buy him a new car. He passed away a month later. So when my mama called me the other day and said that her car was acting funny, the offer of getting a new car was still on the table. I said get rid of it and go get yourself a new one that will rock till the wheels fall off and that you feel good in.’

She then thanked the dealership in Utah where her mom went to and told her to enjoy her new automobile. The heartwarming message was accompanied by a photo of her smiling mother in front of the new wheels.

It’s been over a year since Kent lost her father and it hasn’t gotten any easier for the reality star. Much of her erratic behavior on the last season of the show was because she was coping with the tragic loss by abusing alcohol which led to her decision to get sober.

Lala opened up in an Instagram post on how her dad’s passing deeply affected her.

‘Tonight you will see a small part of the pain I feel since my dad passed away. I think about him every minute of everyday. I cry often. I still call his phone and leave a message. I do whatever I possibly can to feel peaceful. There is so much that I want to tell him. And even tho I know he sees me and I know he is close, the selfish part of me wants to scream and yell and say that’s not good enough. I want to see his face. I want to hear his voice.’

It’s great to see that Kent is taking good care of her mother during the time she needs it the most.
