Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp are officially broken up, a report from People Magazine revealed. Lily-Rose Depp and Chalamet first started dating in October 2018 after they met on Netflix’s The King. However, they’ve officially split up.

During a chat with reporters from Vogue, the 24-year-old actor described himself as “currently single.” Furthermore, the news of the breakup was also confirmed by Us Magazine.

Despite the fact they almost never talked about their romance publicly, they were photographed together many times in public over the last two years. Fan accounts on Instagram and other social media platforms first began noticing their romance from New York City photographs depicting them together.

Lily-Rose Depp – who is Johnny Depp’s daughter – was spotted promoting a historical drama this past year alongside Timothée Chalamet. They’ve also been spotted at the Venice Film Festival where they screened the same film in September.

And in Capri, they were seen once again attending a premiere and kissing on a boat. A month after, they were seen again at the London premiere for the same movie.

Chalamet is no stranger to celebrity relationships. Before his romance with Lily-Rose Depp, he was linked to Lourdes Leon, 23, the daughter of Madonna. They were students at the La Guardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts.

Lily-Rose, on the other hand, dated the 28-year-old model, Ash Stymest, before her romance with Chalamet. The actor is perhaps most famous for his collaboration with Woody Allen, among other successful and critically acclaimed movies.

Woody Allen’s career, however, has come under siege ever since his adopted daughter accused him of molesting her when she was a young girl. Timothée had to distance himself from the director as a result, but Woody said there were other reasons.

Woody Allen, in his memoir, Apropos of Nothing, stated Timothée and his team admitted to distancing themselves from him because he wanted to win an Oscar. It’s difficult for an actor or actress to win big at the Academy Awards if they’ve worked with or collaborated with controversial artists.
