Tiffany Savona is an American Journalist who currently works at WGAL-TV in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a Meteorologist, she joined the WGAL News, 8 Storm Team, in March of 2020. She grew up in Newark, Delaware, and has always been fascinated with the weather, Savona decided to pursue her passion, graduating with a B.S. in Meteorology with an option in Weather Forecasting as well as Communications from The Pennsylvania State University. She has been designated a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.

After graduation, she accepted a meteorologist job at KXXV-TV in Waco, Texas. Tiffany gained plenty of severe weather experienced while working in the Lone Star State, which included several storm chasing trips across the Central Plains.

Trading tornadoes for hurricanes and nor’easters, she then moved to Virginia Beach to be a meteorologist at WAVY-TV 10/FOX43. Three years later, Tiffany moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to work for WLKY-TV, where she covered everything from river flooding to the Kentucky Derby. Prior to coming to WGAL, Tiffany freelanced at PHL 17 and CBS 3 in Philadelphia.

She is excited to explore everything the Susquehanna Valley has to offer. When Savona is not tracking storms, Tiffany is often found spending time with her husband, chasing around her young son, traveling, staying active, and watching sports. Savona loves cheering on the Nittany Lions! #WEARE
