Even though Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift have been broken up since 2010, some of Swift’s fans haven’t forgotten about it. As a way of promoting New Eyes for the Needy this Monday, Jake posted an old picture in which he was wearing glasses.

New Eyes for the Needy is a charity organization that provides glasses to those in need of financial support. The Nightcrawler star kicked off his post by saying that he started to wear glasses ever since he began “parting his hair meticulously.”

Taylor’s fans couldn’t help themselves but quote her famous song from 2012, “All Too Well,” which fans believed was about Jake. The singer-songwriter said in the song that he used to be a “little kid with glasses in a twin-sized bed.”

Social media users began flooding his comment section with remarks about Taylor’s song. Another user jokingly asked whether he honestly thought he could post that picture without the Swifties coming in to attack.

Rachel Zegler, from West Side Story, also had to chime in on the flood of comments, saying that he set himself up for that one. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Taylor was in the headlines for her association with another celebrity.

Earlier this month, Swift found her name written all over social media again after Kanye declared war on the music business. West wrote on his account repeatedly that artists deserved to own their master recordings, and he would see to it that many of them would receive them.

West even claimed that he could get back Taylor’s recordings, despite the fact they haven’t gotten along lately. Reportedly, Kanye has a close relationship with Scooter Braun, which makes sense considering the mega-manager once worked for him.

During an interview, Kanye said he would get Taylor’s rights back, and this was around the same time that he said he would be giving back all of his artists’ master recordings. As most know, Kanye has a successful record label of his own, GOOD Music, which has signed big artists like Big Sean and Pusha-T.
