Anneliese Judge is wowwing her followers in her swimsuit. In a social media post shared earlier this year, the Sweet Magnolias star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit top in a mirror selfie. "Beauty," commented one of her followers. "Obsessed," added another. How does the young actress, who plays Annie Sullivan on the hit Netflix show, approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top health habits. 

"Family is so important to me. My parents are my biggest supporters, and they really instilled in me from a young age that if I wanted something badly enough and was willing to work for it, I could achieve anything I put my mind to," Anneliese told Vanity Teen.

"Caring for my mental health has always been a priority for me," Anneliese told the publication. "I have a non-negotiable 45 minutes set aside for myself every day. No matter how busy I may be. I have to do something for myself during those 45 minutes. Even if it's just right before bed – meditating, journaling, taking a group class at the gym, stretching, whatever. It just has to be an uninterrupted quiet time, 45 minutes for me to check in with myself and give my body what it needs during that moment."

Another way Anneliese unwinds is "reading a chapter of whatever book I'm currently reading," she told Vanity Teen. "I'm taking a class on global literature that is super interesting, so it's been fun to dive into these topics." One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals. 

"In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and going to the gym," Anneliese added. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

Anneliese is a yogi. "I love yoga," she told the publication. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

Anneliese also loves cycling, "SoulCycle style," she told Vanity Teen. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance.
