A man was accused of capital homicide this month for supposedly killing a 3-year-old kid and his folks in El Paso, Texas over a long time back.

U.S. Marshals with the Solitary Star Outlaw Team found and captured Arturo Ortega Garcia, 69, in Mexico City on Nov. 4 preceding removing him back to the U.S. for arraignment.

Police said on Aug. 11, 1994, officials found the bodies of three casualties in a home on Nursery Passage in El Paso.

The casualties were distinguished as 59-year-old Francisco Santoni, 28-year-old Concepcion Estate, and 3-year-old Dante Santoni.

Examiners recuperated proof from the crime location that, given the limits of innovation, couldn’t form into functional leads, as indicated by a public statement from the El Paso Police Division, and the case went cold.

Still keeping watch for Garcia, agents found Garcia was captured in Mexico City in 2020, where he stayed until he was removed on Nov. 4.

El Paso Judge Ruben Nunez set Garcia’s bond at $5 million.
