Tampa Bay Lightning’s ice hockey center Steven Stamkos met the love of his life when he was young, and they decided on to live together in 2017. Thus, Stamkos and Porzio have been happily married for five blissful years now.

Sandra has a big heart and has been connected to the Lightning charitable functions for many years. As per NHL, the pair requested donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Tampa and Toronto instead of gifts during the celebration of their special day.

She is also active on social networking sites, including Facebook and Instagram but has maintained a private account under the handle @sandrastamkos. Likewise, Steven has also shared his Instagram posts with limited followers under the username @91stammer. However, the athlete has posted pictures of his family on his Twitter, @RealStamkos91.

Steven Stamkos married his childhood sweetheart Sandra Porzio in 2017.

The ice hockey player proposed to the woman of his dream only a few days after his team won the World Cup of Hockey in his hometown of Toronto. Sandra said yes without any second thoughts as they had waited for the moment for a long time. 

Furthermore, the beautiful couple marks their wedding anniversary on the 30th of June every passing year. They celebrated five years together as a happily married pair six months ago, in June 2022. 

Steven Celebrated His Wedding Ceremony In His Hometown 

Stamkos walked down the aisle with Sandra Porzio and exchanged wedding vows in his hometown of Toronto.

Stamkos chose to travel for his big day because he felt like that was the best way to feel close to home and celebrate his wedding with the couple’s closest family and friends. Furthermore, the ice hockey player had traditional elements for the pair’s Italian and Macedonian backgrounds.

The marriage got held at The Arlington Estate in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, and his current and former teammates, including Martin St. Louis, Ryan Malone, Nate Thompson, and Teddy Purcell, attended the ceremony. Purcell also became a groomsman to celebrate his friend’s special day.  

Moreover, Steven and Sandra looked stunning in their wedding outfits, and 515 Photo Co. perfectly captured the beautiful event in photographs and videographs so that they could relive the precious moment later in life.

Steven Stamkos Has A Family Of Four

Steven Stamkos lives happily ever after with his lovely family of four, including Sandra and children.

Sandra blessed her husband with their first son Carter in 2019, and the little man turned three on the 29th of July, 2022. Steven has groomed his boy to become an athlete from a tender age. He shared an adorable video teaching Carter how to play golf on his Twitter on the 25th of May 2020.

Likewise, the athlete gave the best gift to his baby on his second birthday, a Stanley Cup, and it was the baby boy’s second time holding the cup. The mini Stamkos also has a sibling named Chase.

The ice player became a father again in 2021 when his better half gave birth to their second child in December, a couple of weeks from her due date. Moreover, in February, the Stamkos family came to Nashville for the Stadium Series against the Predators. Porzio and her kids got photographed on the ice sporting Stamkos’ No. 91 on a personalized cap.
