What caused Steve Drummond’s demise?

On May 15, 2023, Steve Drummond, a racer, chassis builder, engine builder, and fabricator, went away. Maryland International Raceway released the following statement to convey this sad news.

After a cancer fight, Steve passed away. Steve was identified with B cell lymphoma in October 2022.

He received chemotherapy. However, the treatments haven’t worked for his specific type of cancer.

At the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Baltimore, Steve also received CAR-T cell therapy. On May 15, 2023, Steve sadly passed away unexpectedly.
