Mykelti Brown is squatting her way to enviable glutes – in her gym clothes. In a new social media post, the Sister Wives star shares a video of her "leg day" workouts, which includes a lot of squats. "I've been trying to create healthy, longterm goals that are sustainable for me. Thus far, I'm posting this from day 3 but I'm now on Gym day 6. This is my leg day, to be honest not sure what I'm doing at all. Total beginner learning from YouTube and I know my form and maybe my weights aren't right, but I'm working in a better me. Mykelti and her husband Tony have been documenting their "major life shift" on social media. "It was time to get healthy. We wanted something sustainable not just quick weight loss, but something that would last and keep us healthy in the long term. It's been a great journey that we're still working on every day to keep our bodies moving in the right direction. We've learned it's all about consistency, not focusing on the short term goal, but the long term goals. Results like Tony and I have had come with longevity not trying something just for a month or so," she revealed in an Instagram post in July 2023.

Mykelti maintains that Plexus Slim Pink Drink helped her lose weight. The company claims that the drink, intended for consumption 30 to 60 minutes prior to meals, helps suppress hunger. 

Another tool that Mykelti has used on her weight loss journey is meal prepping, which involves spending an afternoon getting healthy food ready for the week. "Meal prep for the week ☑️. Tacos are my families staple. @tonychessnut and I love them because of their deliciousness, lower calorie options, and easy to remake and repeat," she wrote in a post. 

Mykelti is a coffee drinker. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Mykelti has been accused of taking Ozempic to lose weight. "I am not. I am taking a supplement drink and running around with three kids," she responded to someone on social media. She added that she's not using any "quick fixes" to get by in her goal.
