Shannen Doherty was born on April 12, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. She gained international recognition for her breakout role as Brenda Walsh in the television series Beverly Hills, 90210.

Her portrayal of Brenda earned her a Young Artist Nomination for Best Young Actress Starring in a Television series.

She was then cast as lead character Prue Halliwell in another hit television series Charmed, for which she garnered two Saturn Award nominations for Best Genre TV Actress.

She has also appeared in such films as Heathers, Forever Young, Jailbreakers, Mallrats and Burning Palms, to name a few.
