Sergio Brown who is a former American football safety attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, where he was a two-sport star in football and track. He played wide receiver and defensive back for the Pirates football team. As a senior, he had 710 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns at wide receiver, and 41 tackles, two sacks, and six interceptions as a safety. Academically, he had a 3.2 GPA.

Nick Brown is the only brother of Sergio Brown. Much is not known about Nick, he is only in the limelight because of his missing brother and dead mother. He is also known to be a USA Junior National Champion in track and field who had much success in track and field at the University of Illinois. He is an entrepreneur who is associated with multiple companies and works at Glappit.

Nick Brown was the one who first shared the news of his missing brother and mother in a Facebook post, asking people to help find his relatives.

He wrote; “Folks my mom Myrtle Brown and brother Sergio Brown are missing, I’m not waiting another hour. Please share! If you see them or one of them please let me or the Maywood Police Office know”
