Sanya strength trains, with a focus on her glutes. Here's how to do a key exercise, a Dumbbell Squat:

1. Stand up straight while holding a dumbbell in each hand (palms facing the side of your legs).
2. Position your legs using a shoulder-width medium stance with the toes slightly pointed out. Keep your head up at all times (looking down will throw you off balance), and also maintain a straight back. This will be your starting position.
3. Begin to slowly lower your torso by bending the knees and sitting back with the weight in your heels so that you maintain a straight posture with the head up. Continue down until your thighs are parallel to the floor. If you performed the exercise correctly, the front of the knees should make an imaginary perpendicular straight line with the toes. If your knees are past your toes, you're placing undue stress on the knee; concentrate on sitting back and keeping the weight in your heels.
4. Begin to raise your torso as you exhale by pushing the floor mainly with the heel of your foot as you straighten the legs again and go back to the starting position.
5. Repeat for 10 repetitions.
