Sami, whose father has publicly struggled with addiction, encourages people to educate themselves about addiction. Recently, she suggested that her followers watch a specific episode of Euphoria. "I could talk about this show for hours but i really do think everyone needs to see this. it does an amazing job showing the different perspectives on someone who struggles with addiction and the people that are close with someone who does. <3," she said. 

Sami has been riding horses since she was a young girl. When she was a kid, her mother, Denise Richards, bought her a horse and she learned how to ride at a stable near their home. Not only are equestrian sports a great workout and help with balance, horses also boost mental health. 

Sami, who grew up in Southern California, likes to spend a lot of time outdoors. One of the ways she likes to exercise is by going on hikes. Many of her Instagram photos are taken during her adventures in canyons and cliffs.
