Salvo Nicosia was a respected communications director who died on Friday, April 8, 2022.

He was named communications director of the Alberta Ferretti and Pollini collections in January 2021.

Nicosia, who was born in Sicily, joined the Aeffe Group in 2019 as VIP and celebrity relations director for Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, and Pollini, based in London.

Over the course of 11 years at the Italian design firm, he built solid relationships with  celebrities ranging from Jennifer Lopez to Madonna.

He could be seen at all of the world’s biggest events, from the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals to the Met Gala.

He died at the age of 52
