The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds and husband, Jim Edmonds are reportedly getting a divorce. After five years of marriage, a cheating scandal and a nasty fight that ended with the cops intervening the couple has split.

Us Weekly has confirmed Jim officially filed for divorce on Friday, October 25th. His shocking filing comes one day after the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.

Multiple sources confirmed to the weekly magazine the estranged pair got into a heated fight, which resulted in the police being called.

“Meghan and Jim have been fighting. The latest fight began when he went to a recent hockey game and she began interrogating him about who he went with,” an insider shared with Us Weekly.

The news not only comes one day after their anniversary but also after Meghan told Bravo’s The Daily Dish they had been working on their marriage.

“We’re just still working it day by day. I think after such a breach of trust, it’s so hard to rebuild from there, especially with so many distractions, like our son’s health problems and two other little babies’ daughter Aspen and Hart’s twin brother, Hayes, as well. And so to focus on the two of us as a couple is really hard. Today’s actually our five-year wedding anniversary and so he’s inside at Goodwill looking for Halloween costumes. And then we’re going to counseling. I think that’s almost a date for us because we have to talk about us; we have to communicate about things that don’t involve other topics,” Meghan revealed.

They have been working on their marriage for months following news Jim had an inappropriate relationship with a woman while Meghan was pregnant with their twin sons.

“I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person. At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none. This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past,” Jim said taking ownership of his actions back in June.

Meghan admitted in a blog post that she could no longer trust her husband. The former RHOC star revealed at the time she was hopeful they would find a way to make their marriage work.

Jim Edmonds has filed for divorce from Meghan King Edmonds. Neither one has commented on the divorce report or the alleged fight where the cops were called to break it up.
